More About Jenny
When I attended college at UCSB and graduate school at CalArts, I felt it was the most liberating time of self-discovery in my life. Watching that happen for students at Santa Barbara City College is why I teach. Our class is a place to explore themes of identity, culture, and belonging, and empowerment in our reading and writing. My hope is to create a social and dynamic classroom where students feel they can contribute their voice and ideas, which will help us all learn more about ourselves.
